The Build
Our Victorian renovation in Clapham South project involved a full internal refurbishment alongside a side return extension to the kitchen. Several internal walls were removed to create a generous open-plan living, dining, and kitchen space, supported by new structural steelwork to open up the layout.
The extension features underfloor heating powered by a Google Nest system, delivering modern comfort and efficiency. Internally, the home was fully replastered, with new plumbing and electrics installed throughout.
A reconfigured bathroom was created by removing the existing chimney, allowing space for a walk-in shower and freestanding bath – balancing practicality with a sense of luxury.
The Result
Despite the scale of the works, the project was completed in just nine weeks, allowing the clients to move into their home in time for Christmas.
The result is a bright, contemporary family home that respects its Victorian roots while delivering modern comfort, flow, and functionality.
