b) Newsletter sign-up (Mailchimp)

If you subscribe to our mailing list, we collect your name and email address and pass these to our email marketing provider, Mailchimp (operated by The Rocket Science Group LLC), to send you newsletters and marketing communications you have opted into. Mailchimp may also collect technical data (such as open and click rates) to help us understand how our emails perform.

c) Automatically collected information (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our Site. This may collect:

  • Pages visited and time spent on the Site

4. Who we share your data with

We share personal data with the following third-party processors, who process data on our behalf under their own data processing agreements:

  • Google LLC — website analytics via Google Analytics. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • Any IT, hosting, or professional services providers who help us operate the Site or run our business, under confidentiality obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

International transfers

Some of our third-party providers (including Mailchimp and Google) may transfer and process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK’s International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep your data

  • Contact form enquiries: retained for as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping purposes, typically no longer than 24 months, unless a longer period is required for legal reasons.
  • Newsletter data: retained for as long as you remain subscribed, and deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period after you unsubscribe.
  • Analytics data: retained in accordance with Google Analytics’ default retention settings (see Cookies Policy).

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent
  • Complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you believe we have not handled your data properly

The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
